On 2nd June, 30 international volunteers of the Seoul Rose Festival joined FKN for the 'Agriculture&Nature Tour in Pocheon'.

포천 농촌&자연 투어를 펀데이코리아네트웍스와 함께 떠났습니다.
Our action-packed day commenced with our visit to 'Gyodong Village' where we enjoyed nature-focused activities!
다양한 자연친화 프로그램을 즐길 수 있는 교동장독대마을이 우리의 첫번째 목적지였는데요!
바쁜 생활에서 벗어 마음을 편안하게 해주는 마을이었습니다.
Upon arrival, we participated in making traditional Korean rice cakes, which turned out to be a delicious boost to
our energy and sweet reward for our effort, despite it being our first attempt in this culinary art.
도착하자마자 우리 손으로 직접 예쁜 바람떡을 만들어보았어요! 처음인데 다들 예쁘게 만들었죠?
While our farm-to-table meals were being prepared, we played the Korean game, 'Tuho' to have a shot at winning souvenirs.
After lunch, we were energized and blissful, and couldn't hold our anticipation for our next destination any further.
This peaceful village had indeed relaxed our minds and provided the perfect start to the day.
간단하게 한국 전통놀이 투호를 즐긴 뒤에 점식식사를 한 후에는 두번째 목적지인 한탄강 하늘다리와 비둘기낭폭포로 이동했습니다.
Compared to the calmness of Gydong Village, our second destination, Hantangang River Suspension bridge and Pigeon Waterfall, pumped up our adrenaline levels. At 50 meters high, the Hantangang River Suspension Bridge gave us a 360-degree panorama of serene nature and the gorge at the base. Although we could have spent the entire day in admiration of the view, we knew that nearby Pigeon Waterfall had something special in store for us! Pigeion waterfall is a natural monument that leaves one speechless from its breathtaking beauty and the awe-inspiring flow of its energy. We owe gratitude to Pocheon city Hall for opening the gates for us and have the opportunity of a lifetime to come within touching distance of the crystal-clear water of Pigeion Waterfall. We were able to persuade ourselves to make our way to our last destination only because we are so overwhelmingly content from the sights we had just seen. Each of us made a promise to our ourself that we shall return again with more friends and family soon!

Our day was capped with exploring the Pocheon Art Valley, which was transformed by the Pocheon City administration from an abandoned quarry to a renowned cultural destination. An unbeatable monorail journey to the top of the mountain led us to a spectacular view of the splendid Cheonjuho Lake.
