Exploring Seodaemun Historical Prison, a powerful tribute to the Korean patriots and independence activists who bravely stood up during the 35-year Japanese colonial period (1910-1945). 🇰🇷✨ Seodaemun Prison History Hall is a historical place and a cultural site, but little did you know that it is a hot spot for K-drama filming, especially those epic prison release scenes! 📽️✨ Featured in hits like Goblin (2016-17), Father, I’ll Take Care of You (2016-17), Hide and Seek (2018), Doctor John (2019), and more. I was one of the few people who got the chance with this once in a bluemoon opportunity (for me) to join Seodaemun Historical Prison Tour at Night. Seodamun Historical Prison is not always open for all at night. This was a very special Night Tour for few selected foreigners to discover the history of Korea and I am beyond grateful to have been there. ✈️ 🇰🇷 Flying to Korea was a dream because I am in love with Korea's culture since I was young, but I never imagined I get to see this hidden gem and I am extremely honored. ✨
