- Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking and exploring. - A light jacket or extra layer depending on the weather. - Water and a few personal snacks for a full-day trip. - Your phone or camera to capture the beautiful surroundings. - Most importantly, bring an open mind and be ready to meet new people and experience Korean culture.
I had a wonderful experience at Funday Korea’s Heritage Yeoju: Joseon Old House Tour on October 3. It was a great day filled with beautiful Korean heritage, culture, and, most importantly, the company of so many amazing people. I really enjoyed the overall experience and appreciated how well the event was organized. A special thanks to all the organizers for putting together such an amazing event and creating such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. One of my favorite parts of the day was experiencing the live singing and music performed by local Korean women. It added something very special and authentic to the experience. Listening to local music in such a cultural setting made the day feel much more memorable than a typical sightseeing trip. The event was also a great opportunity to meet and spend time with wonderful people from different backgrounds while experiencing another side of Korean culture. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Funday Korea’s events to anyone who wants to explore Korean culture, visit interesting historical places, meet new people, and enjoy experiences that go beyond the usual tourist attractions. Thank you to the entire Funday Korea team and everyone who made this day so enjoyable. I look forward to joining more of their events in the future.

- Wear comfortable shoes because cultural day trips often involve quite a bit of walking. - Try to interact with the other participants rather than staying with people you already know. Meeting new people can become one of the best parts of the experience. - Pay attention to the local performances and cultural activities. The live singing and music were one of the highlights of my trip. - Bring a camera, but also take some time to put it away and simply enjoy the atmosphere. - If you are interested in Korean culture, history, or traditional music, go with an open mind. Experiences like this can give you a much more personal connection to Korea than simply visiting famous tourist attractions.
