My first little trip in Korea was filled with emotions and beautiful memories! The day started with a bit of stress: it turned out that my friend and I were not on the participants list, even though we had received a confirmation email. We were really scared that we wouldn’t be able to join, but thankfully the organizers quickly solved the issue. The journey was smooth and fast. Although we couldn’t participate in the clay craft workshop, there were so many other activities available! I tried to join almost every one of them and ended up receiving lots of nice gifts from the organizers. One of the sweetest moments was hearing so many compliments about my drawing skills — it made me really happy and grateful. This trip became a real break for me after exams. The beautiful nature in Gwangju reminded me so much of home, of Kyrgyzstan, and I realized how much I missed these kinds of landscapes. Standing on the top of the hill (even if it wasn’t very high), I felt peaceful, relieved, and as if all the stress from my studies had melted away. Breathing in the fresh air, something inside me stirred — it felt so familiar and touching. I’m truly happy that my first trip turned out to be so relaxing, warm, and full of beautiful moments. Now I really want to visit as many cities as possible and collect even more special memories. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, Funday!
