I got to go on the Merry and Bright Damyang trip that Funday Korea Networks set up, and it was even better than I thought it would be! There were three of us in our group, and I can say for sure that everyone on the tour was very nice and open. It was so much fun to meet other people who are excited to see Korea too! 😊 The program was very well-organized, and the highlights of the trip included visiting: Juknokwon (죽녹원): The serene bamboo forest 🌳 Meta Provence (메타 프로방스): A little piece of France in Korea 🏘️ Meta Sequoia Road (메타쉐쿼이아가로수길): A picturesque path lined with giant sequoia trees 🌲 Changpyeong Market (창평시장): A taste of local life and flavors 🛍️ Damyang Delight (담양 딜라이트): A special and unexpected treat 🎁 The places that Funday Korea arranged for us to stay were clean, comfy, and well-kept. I really enjoyed how hard they worked to make sure everyone had a great stay. I'm eager to see as much of Korea as possible since I've only been here for less than six months. This trip was the right way for me to experience Damyang's culture and beauty. I applied with the hope of having a good time, but what I got was truly memorable!
