On the very hot day on May 11th, 80 foreign nationals gathered together
to go with Funday Korea Networks on a one-day trip to Daejeon
to enjoy the Yuseong Hot Spring Festival 2019.
여름처럼 무더웠던 5월11일 토요일, 80명의 선발된 외국인 친구들이
펀데이코리아네트웍스와 함께 대전유성온천문화축제를 즐기러 대전으로 당일여행을 떠났습니다.
Upon arriving in Daejeon, we had a fine lunch(some of us couldn’t join lunch due to Ramadan, however).
Afterwards, we all tried a variety of open air foot baths, and went through the Festival area
where we ran into a water-gun fight full of energy. For one hour, everybody was having fun
fighting each other with the hot spring water or dancing around.
대전에 도착해서 맛있는 점심을 먹고 (라마단 기간이었던 친구들은 아쉽게 점심은 함께 하지 못했어요.)
야외 족욕을 즐기고 시원한 물총싸움에 뛰어 들었습니다. 1시간동안 진행되었던 온천수 물총싸움에서
친구들 모두 음악에 맞춰 춤추며 격렬한 물총싸움을 했어요.
As you might know, last year the train ride was canceled because of the rain,
but this year the weather was perfect and we rode a nice small train while enjoying the view
and a spring breeze from the Gabcheon river.
Even though the DJ party was postponed and we couldn’t attend it,
this day brought satisfaction by washing away all the unexpected summer heat of this spring day.
작년에 아쉽게 취소 되었던 코끼리열차를 올해에는 다행히 탈 수 있었어요.
대전의 아름다운 갑천변을 따라 봄바람을 느끼며 열차에서 경치를 구경했습니다.
DJ 파티의 시간이 아쉽게 미뤄져서 참여하지 못했지만
더위를 날려버릴 수 있는 하루 여행이었습니다.
