Namsangol Hanok Village Traditional Culture Experience
On the 25th of June, we invited 20 foreign participants to experience the traditional culture of Korea at Namsangol Hanok Village.
Namsangol Hanok Village is a place where you may enjoy Hanok, Korea’s traditional housing, while taking a look at the lifestyle of our ancestors.
Participants experienced wearing Korean traditional Hanbok, participated in etiquette lessons, and transformed into warriors from the olden time, learning how to use traditional weapons of war. They made “Ggotsanbyungs”, beautiful Korean flower pattern rice cakes, and learned Korean tea etiquette, a custom adopted by scholars when enjoying the beauty of nature and art.
In the end, everybody got to join together in spending a meaningful time learning more about what Korea has to offer.
