October 5th, 80 friends from all over the world gathered together to
take part in King Jeongjo Parade Reenactment.
This grand parade is hold annually to pay respects to one of the most
famous kings in the history of Korea.
We dressed up in traditional clothes of Confucian scholars and
marched all the way from Gwanghwamun to Seoul Station together
with giant mascots of King Jeongjo and royal ships, cheered by the crowd and waving to everyone!
After we came around Seoul Station some of the scholars took part
in the Confucius exam, testing their knowledge of Korean history.
The competition was really tough!
After the examination (which everyone passed successfully!)
all of us enjoyed the performances, snacks and had fun together,
celebrating the parade and chatting with each other.
