Last Saturday I had a trip to Anseong (in Gyeonggi-do) with Funday; we had three things to do there: visiting a kimchi-making farm, the Namsadang Baudeogi Performance (it's even on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list!), and a trending local bakery! 1. The farm was peaceful and really picturesque, and the people were super kind. But the actual kimchi-making was a bit oversimplified, cause there the sauce and cabbage were already prepared, so we only did the final step. Still, it was very nice to make kimchi in traditional farm with their techniques 2. Oh my gosh, it was amazing! The Namsadang Baudeogi Performance is a must if you're in Korea for at least a week. It was absolutely mesmerizing. Acrobats, traditional Korean dances, ribbons, drums, stories, jokes, audience interaction, tightrope... everything was perfect. 3. I also enjoyed the desserts.
