About your trip

Did you know there was a place like this in Korea? I visited Andong, and it completely changed how I see this country. This city once gathered scholars, leaders, and important figures long ago, a place full of culture and legacy. Andong is very famous for its traditional dance, but did you know it’s also known for its soju? At Jinmaek Soju, I learned about traditional Andong soju, how it’s made with rice, nuruk, and careful distillation passed down through generations. The flavors are soft but strong, and every sip feels meaningful, like you’re tasting a little part of Andong’s history. They even filmed SEVENTEEN content here and scenes from Mr. Sunshine, which makes it even more special. Then we visited Anrak, and I enjoyed a beautiful performance that showed a different side of Korean culture, music, art, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you slow down and simply enjoy the moment. It didn’t feel like a show… it felt like a warm invitation. 🫶
