Visiting the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my stay here in korea. Because it's educational, emotional, and meaningful experience. *IMJINGAK PARK Where the FREEDOM BRIDGE is located and many monuments dedicated to the families separated by the korean war. its was both beautiful and emotional, when seeing the ribbond of hope tied along the fences with messages for peace and hope. *DORA OBSERVATORY You can look across the border into north korea and some buildings using binoculars (taking pictures are not allowed in this area) *THIRD INFILTRATION TUNNEL Which north korea secretlybuilt to cross into the south. *DORASAN STATION the last train station before north korea. Over all this experience is not only educational but deeply moving. Hoping that one day the border are open because the two korea are reunited.
Wear comportable clothes and shoes.
