About your trip

I recently joined a free trip to Yeongju through Funday Travel Agency, and it was such an amazing experience! Since my friend and I live in Daejeon, we went directly to Buseoksa Temple, a beautiful historic site known for its peaceful atmosphere and the legend of floating stone. After exploring the temple, we headed to a lovely lakeside accommodation—the view was breathtaking! In the evening, we played traditional games like 제기차기, five stones, and dice games. Our team even won first place and got lots of gifts! The next morning, we made ginseng wine, natural scrubbers, and wind charms—super fun and hands-on. Later, we visited Sosu Seowon, Korea’s first private Confucian academy, and explored the charming Seonbi Village. We ended the trip at a traditional tomb site before heading back. It was a perfect mix of culture, nature, fun, and meeting new people. Huge thanks to Funday Travel for such a well-organized and memorable trip!

TIP

Take snacks, water, and necessary stuff like an umbrella with you. Wear comfortable shoes since you have to walk little bit more.
