BUS, PLANE
I was only in Yeosu because I won a free flight from Seoul to Yeosu, from Yeosu to Jeju, and back to Seoul. But it is such a cute off-the-beaten-path city that I think most tourists won't think to visit. It's not particularly big or expansive, but to me it feels like a slice of real Korea and normal Korean life. They have a beautiful mural village, fabulous harbour bridge night views, sunset spots on walkable mountain tops, shopping district, beautiful cafés, and of course fantastic, authentic Korean restaurants. I think visiting Yeosu is honestly not a top priority for the average tourist, that only have days or weeks in Korea, but if you have already been to all the famous hot spots, please consider Yeosu for your next Korea visit. I did a 3N2D trip, but if you're strapped for time you can easily see most of what Yeosu has to offer in 2N1D.
Cheongsudang Yeosu coffee shop is so aesthetically pleasing with very Instagrammable matcha options. Go in the evening for Dolsan bridge night views.
